HELP!!! POOR “JOJO” IS SUCH A GORGEOUS YOUNG GIRL, PROBABLY EVEN
YOUNGER THAN THE 2 YEARS LISTED, AND SHE SEEMS TO BE A SHEPHERD/STAFFIE OR SHEPHERD/BOXER/STAFFIE, AND SHE’S A SWEET GIRL.
THIS POOR ANGEL WAS ADOPTED FROM THE POUND, BUT HAS BEEN RETURNED
THROUGH NO FAULT OF HER OWN, AND SHE SEEMS TO BE GOOD WITH OTHER
DOGS—A PERFECT PET! PLEASE DON’T LET HER BE KILLED, SAVE HER!!!
Poor angel Jojo is such a lovely girl, a real beauty with such
luscious coloring, a plush Shepherd-y coat, and great features.
She weighs 61 lbs., and she is healthy and in great shape, though
she has a slight medical condition, just sniffles, for which she
is being treated, and so she has recently been moved into Iso.
She was previously in a cage with other dogs, so she seems to be fine with them and has apparently only been separated because of her
medical condition. She’s a sweet, gentle young girl, docile and
friendly, but this darling youngster is sensitive and smart, and
so she’s worried in the pound. She’s also very sad and depressed,
heartbroken that her heartless owner dumped her, with the excuse
of “no time”. And that is what she has in the pound, no time— her
time is up, her life is over, unless someone takes pity on her and gets
her out of there. She is such a perfect pet, please don’t let
this treasure be killed. Save her precious angel young life!!! My
name is Jo jo and I am an unaltered female, brown and black
Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix. The shelter thinks I am about 2
years and 1 month old. I have been at the shelter since Mar 28,
2006.

HELP!!! “CASPER” IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL YOUNG BOY—PROBABLY AN AMERICAN BULLDOG, PURE OR MIXED WITH STAFFIE, OR HE MAY EVEN BE A DOGO. HE’S VERY YOUNG, PROBABLY EVEN YOUNGER THAN THE AGE LISTED. HE’S VERY SWEET AND LOVING, SUCH A PERFECT PET. HE’S VERY HEALTHY AND
FULL OF LIFE. DON’T LET HIM BE KILLED, PLEASE SAVE THIS FABULOUS
ANGEL!!! Poor “Casper” is such a doll, a stunning boy, weighing
63 lbs., with pristine white coloring, such gorgeous features,
long legs, extra long ears—this darling boy is too too cute. This
darling boy is so sweet and gentle, docile and friendly, a good
natured boy. He’s sensitive and smart, so he’s worried in the pound, with good reason. He is in great shape, but he has been in Iso, with
a bit of sniffles, for which he was being treated. He’s still in
Iso, but he’s recovered from his sniffles and he’s ready to be
moved into the regular kennels, but he may never get that chance!
He’s been kept alive while he was sick, but now that he’s well,
he will be killed! He has been by himself at least for a while, but perhaps he’s been alone the entire time he’s been in the pound. He
may be good with other dogs—he has not indicated any aggression
toward any dogs at this point. Please go and meet this beautiful
boy, you will probably fall in love with him. He’s so adorable
and so adoptable. Please don’t let this young treasure be killed,
save his precious angel life!!! My name is Casper and I am an unaltered male, white and brown Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix. The
shelter thinks I am about 3 years old. I have been at the shelter
since Mar 30, 2006.

OH, NO!!! POOR “JAY” IS SUCH A STUNNING YOUNG ANGEL, A TINY LAB/BOXER/STAFFIE, MAYBE EVEN MIXED WITH SHEPHERD—HE DOES NOT EVEN SEEM TO BE STAFFIE AT ALL. HE’S VERY YOUNG AND IN GREAT SHAPE, A
LITTLE SHY, BUT TOO CUTE, AND TOO ADORABLE!!! THIS POOR YOUNGSTER
IS SCARED IN THE POUND. PLEASE DON’T LET HIM BE KILLED, HE’S SO
ADOPTABLE, SAVE HIM!!! Jay is such a little beauty, petite and
plush, with fabulous features. He’s very healthy, though he has a
medical card, so even though he’s in the regular kennels, he’s
being treated for a bit of sniffles and ocular discharge, no big
deal, and he’s otherwise very healthy and vital. Jay is a
sensitive, smart little boy, and so he’s very worried and frightened in
the pound. He’s sweet with humans, though a bit shy. He may or
may not be good with other dogs—he may have been aggressive
toward them at some point, the pound says he freaked out and
tried to beat up dogs initially that he was put with. But he
seems to have relaxed a bit, so he may be fine with other dogs, try him out with them. This poor youngster is such a great dog, he has
been in the pound for 3 weeks, though he’s still somewhat scared
in the pound, and with good reason. Please ask to meet him
outside the cage, let him show you what a nice boy he is. He’s
such a beauty, such a fabulous pet with so much promise. Don’t
let him be killed, save his precious young angel life!!! My name is Jay
and I am an unaltered male, brown Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix.
The shelter thinks I am about 3 years old. I have been at the
shelter since Mar 31, 2006.

OH, DEAR!!! LOOK AT THIS POOR LITTLE TINY ANGEL GIRL, WHAT A LITTLE BEAUTY
SHE IS, SHE SEEMS TO BE A PETITE LITTLE BOXER/LAB/STAFFIE, TOO
TOO CUTE!!! THE POUND CLAIMS SHE’S SICK AND ALSO THAT SHE’S NOT
GOOD WITH OTHER DOGS, AND THAT SHE’S NOT FRIENDLY!!! SO THEY HAVE CONDEMNED HER TO DEATH!!! BUT SHE’S ACHING TO GIVE AND RECEIVE LOVE,
SHE’S JUST A BIT SHY— GIVE HER A CHANCE, PLEASE DON’T LET THIS
TEENSY CUTIE PIE BE KILLED!!! This poor little teensy angel girl
is just 37 lbs., so adorable and dainty. She’s so very gorgeous, and full
of life and vitality—the photo does her no justice whatever,
she’s incredibly cute. You would think if they are killing a poor angel,
they would at least take a decent photo to give her a shot at
being adopted. She now may have a bit of sniffles too, no big
deal, and it’s being treated. This poor little baby is probably even
younger than the age listed, and she seems to be terrified in the
pound, who can blame her? She wants so desperately to come to you, to show you what a lovebug she is, but she’s shy and so doesn’t dare.
This poor angel baby is sensitive and smart—she runs away from
visitors, with her ears down, she doesn’t trust anyone in the slaughterhouse, and with good reason. She may even be a bit defensive
at times, barking her hello. She probably just needs a bit of
reassurance, and confidence in humans. Please go and meet her, ask to see
her outside the cage, evaluate her personality for yourself. And
then please save her precious little teensy life!!! I am an
unaltered female, black and white Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix. The
shelter thinks I am about 2 years and 0 months old. I have been
at the shelter since Apr 08, 2006.

OH, DEAR. “CHAPULIN” IS A REALLY BEAUTIFUL DOG, LISTED AS GERMAN SHEPHERD,
THOUGH HE LOOKS LIKE HE COULD BE AN AKITA/SHEPHERD MIX. HE SEEMS
MUCH YOUNGER THAN THE AGE LISTED. HE IS BASICALLY A VERY SWEET
DOG WITH HUMANS, AND SEEMS TO BE FINE WITH OTHER DOGS, BUT FOOD ISSUES CAN MAKE HIM VERY DOG AGGRESSIVE. HE’S BEEN AT THE POUND FOR
2½ MONTHS NOW, AND HE’S CHARMING, BUT THIS IS THE END FOR THIS
POOR GUY, UNLESS SOMEONE CAN SAVE HIM! Chapulin is stunning, tan
colored boy, weighing 53 lbs., with fabulous features, a luscious coat,
and the most adorable stand up ears. He’s very sweet with humans,
a friendly dog who greets you so lovingly and hopefully. He seemed to be okay with other dogs—he was at times with another dog
his size, and all was well. But he was the Shepherd who beat up
the poor 8 month old Staffie puppy a couple of days ago, and also injured
another dog’s paw. That was at feeding time, even though Chapulin
had his own full food container and was being fed separately. So
even though Chapulin can be great with other dogs, he is at this point a
dog who cannot be placed with other dogs, at least not unless his
extreme food issues can be resolved by a behaviorist. Poor
Chapulin is such an endearing dog, so pretty and loving, he just seems to
go nuts when there is food around. He was obviously a great
pet—he was dumped into the pound after all these years by his owner, the
reason given was “cost”. Please don’t let this great dog be
killed, he just needs his food aggression resolved. Please save
his precious life!!! My name is Chapulin and I am an unaltered male, tan
German Shepherd mix. The shelter thinks I am about 8 years old. I
have been at the shelter since Feb 09, 2006.

OH, NO!!! POOR “SHEPE” IS THE MOST STUNNING YOUNG NEUTERED DUTCH SHEPHERD,
WITH SUCH EXQUISITE FEATURES. HE WAS ADOPTED FROM THE POUND AS A
BABY PUPPY, NOW THAT HE’S GROWN UP, HE’S BEEN DUMPED BACK IN TO DIE!!!
HE’S SCARED IN THE POUND, AND SO HE’S A BIT DEFENSIVE. PLEASE
DON’T LET HIM BE KILLED!!! Look at the photo of poor Shepe as an infant
puppy, “adopted” by the typical jerks who just wanted a baby
puppy as a toy for their stupid kids, and had no intention of keeping or
caring about. The poor angel doggie is understandably upset at
being dumped back in and facing death! Shepe is so much like the last
Dutch Shepherd who was in the pound—except she seemed much more
defensive, she charged the cage and barked her head off. None of the breed
rescues, nor anyone else, would rescue her and she was nearly
killed. But guess what? A local non-breed specific rescuer saved her, and
she’s now nothing but kisses and sweetness and love, and ready
for adoption. These dogs appear to get very upset and hyper in the pound.
Even so, Shepe has never seemed nearly so upset in the pound. I
was at the pound when he was impounded, and he seemed a bit defensive but
basically pretty calm and okay. But now the pound is claiming
he’s “very aggressive and will bite”. Perhaps the way they treat him and
handle him has something to do with it, if indeed their comments
are at all accurate. But instead the pound’s comments are often
inaccurate—when they are intent on killing a dog, they say some pretty awful things about the dog, and it often is completely untrue. Look
how friendly and relaxed he is in the photo—they got him to sit and pose
so nicely, obviously he was not aggressive or biting when they
took him for his photo! Please go and meet poor Shepe yourself, evaluate
him yourself, ask to see him outside the cage, and allow him to
relax and show you his real personality. Please save his precious young
life!!! My name is Shepe and I am a neutered male, brown brindle
German Shepherd mix. My age is unknown. I have been at the shelter since
Apr 07, 2006.

OH, NO!!! I CAN’T BELIEVE THEY ARE KILLING THIS STUNNING, SMILING,
ADORABLE YOUNG BLACK LAB!!! “PETE” IS SUCH A SHINY, INCREDIBLY
BEAUTIFUL YOUNGSTER, PROBABLY EVEN YOUNGER THAN THE 2 YEARS OF
AGE LISTED. HE’S BEEN AT THE POUND FOR NEARLY 2 MONTHS, AND HE’S
SUCH A FABULOUS PET. HE’S IN GREAT SHAPE, AS YOU CAN SEE, AND HE
HAS A WONDERFUL, SWEET PERSONALITY. THIS POOR ANGEL HAS BEEN LOCKED AWAY AT THE ANNEX ALL THIS TIME, WITH NO CHANCE TO BE SEEN,
LET ALONE ADOPTED. HE IS ALLEGED TO NOT BE GOOD WITH OTHER DOGS,
SO HE IS TO BE KILLED. POOR PETE HAD A HOME, BUT HE WAS SEIZED
FOR “ANIMAL CRUELTY”, YET OBVIOUSLY HE WAS WONDERFULLY TAKEN CARE
OF. THE ONLY CRUELTY IS THE POUND SEIZING HIM FROM HIS HOME AND
KILLING HIM!!! PLEASE DON’T LET THIS POOR BABY BE KILLED, HE’S SO
ADOPTABLE. SAVE HIS PRECIOUS ANGEL YOUNG LIFE!!! My name is Pete and I am
an unaltered male, black and white Labrador Retriever mix. The

BOY. HE’S LISTED AS SHEPHERD, BUT HE APPEARS TO BE A BEAGLE MIX
OR COLLIE MIX, OR A HOUND OR MOUNTAIN DOG, PURE OR MIXED. HE’S
ACTUALLY BEEN AT THE POUND NEARLY 2 MONTHS ALREADY. THIS FABULOUS
LOOKING GUY LOOKS SO SWEET, BUT THE POUND CLAIMS HE HAS ATTACKED
A DOG, AS WELL AS A KENNEL EMPLOYEE. SEEMS PRETTY AMAZING, PLEASE
GO EVALUATE HIM FOR YOURSELF, SEE IF YOU CAN SAVE HIM, OR HE’S
DEAD!!! My name is Milk and I am an unaltered male, brown and

SHAPE, CHOCOLATE COLORED WITH SUCH LUSCIOUS MARKINGS. HE’S SO
FRIENDLY AND LOVING, SUCH A TERRIFIC PET, SO SWEET AND SOULFUL,

OH, NO. THIS GORGEOUS YOUNG CHOCOLATE STAFFIE OR LAB/STAFFIE IS
SO ADORABLE! LOOK AT THAT SWEET EXPRESSION ON HER FACE! SHE’S
VERY FRIENDLY AND LOVING, AND THE POUND HAS LET HER LIVE FOR 2
MONTHS NOW. BUT THEY SAY SHE’S NOT GOOD WITH OTHER DOGS, AND THEY
WILL KILL HER TODAY! This is such a pretty young sweetheart, probably just a couple of years old, great with humans, good natured
and a fabulous pet. This cutie pie weighs a petite 46 lbs., and
she’s very healthy, though she was treated for a minor medical
condition, probably kennel cough, and she was sent to the “Annex”
to recuperate. Except that she will not get out of there alive
unless someone saves her fast. These 2 poor angels, A778680 and
A778685, were impounded together. They may be brother and sister
or otherwise related; they probably came from the same household. Yet the pound says they don’t even get along with each other—according to
the pound, neither of them gets along with other dogs. But don’t
take their word for it, please go and evaluate them for yourself,
or they are dead! Please save their precious young lives!!! I am

OH, NO!!! “DUKE” IS SUCH A GORGEOUS, HEALTHY YOUNG VIZSLA/STAFFIE
OR DOGUE DE BORDEAUX, A BIG BOY WEIGHING 84 LBS. HE’S A HUNK OF
LOVE, SUCH A TOTAL SWEETHEART, HE EVEN GIVES KISSES!!! POOR ANGEL
WAS DUMPED BY HIS OWNERS DESPITE BEING SUCH A FABULOUS PET. PLEASE SAVE HIM OR HE’S DEAD—IT’S NOT FAIR!!! Duke is such a darling angel boy, probably younger than the age listed, and in great condition. He’s such a total sweetheart, greeting you so lovingly and pleading with you so politely to get him out of there before it’s too late. He’s such a gentleman, a big teddy bear, with great features and the most beautiful cinnamon coloring. He’s so friendly and well behaved, so gentle and good natured, such an incredible treasure. His heartless owners dumped him into the pound to die, through no fault of his own, claiming they had “no time”—suddenly after all these years they have “no time”? And now that is what the pound is giving poor Duke, no time to get adopted, no time to live. He’s been at the “Annex” most of the time since he was impounded, and he’s had no chance to get adopted, and he will be one of the first ones killed. Please don’t let this perfect angel be killed, save his precious angel young life!!! My name is Duke and I am an unaltered male, brown and tan Pit Bull mix. The shelter thinks I am about 4 years old. OMG!!! “SIERRA” IS THE CUTEST LITTLE TEENSY CHOCOLATE LAB/STAFFIE
ANGEL GIRL!!! SHE IS TOO SWEET, INCREDIBLY FRIENDLY, SUCH A TOTAL
LITTLE LOVEBUG—SHE EVEN GIVES KISSES. PLEASE DON’T LET THEM KILL
THIS ADORABLE LITTLE ANGEL!!! This adorable little angel girl is
way younger than the age listed—she’s very puppylike in both appearance and behavior. She’s so full of love and life, so
enthusiastic, and so desperate to get out of the pound, which as
this sensitive, smart little girl knows, intends to kill her.
This little chocolate colored girl is so dainty and too too cute,
she only weighs 40 lbs., and she’s leggy and lovely. Little Sierra tries so hard to call your attention to the urgency of her
situation. She stands up on the cage bars to get closer to you,
and she “talks” to you, and cries softly, begging you to get her
out of there before it’s too late. She’ s not spayed but she is
microchipped. This little angel was dumped into the pound by her
heartless owner, claiming they had “no time” for her. And that is
what the pound is giving her—no time, to get out alive. She was in estrus
when impounded, and perhaps that is the reason the pound put her
into a cage by herself? The pound is killing all the “keep alone”
dogs, and because they are labeling her as that, she is to be
killed even though she is such a fabulous pet. She’s probably
been at the pound nearly 2 months, but has had no chance to get
adopted, and she will probably be one of the first ones killed.
Please don’t let this precious little teensy angel baby be killed, save her life!!! My name is Sierra and I am an unaltered female,
brown and white Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix. The shelter
thinks I am about 3 years old. I have been at the shelter since
Mar 25, 2006.

OH, DEAR. LOOK AT THE HEARTBREAK ON THE FACE OF THIS POOR ANGEL!
HE IS SO BEAUTIFUL AND SO VERY SAD AND DEPRESSED, AND WITH GOOD REASON. HIS HORRID OWNERS HAVE DUMPED HIM INTO THE POUND TO DIE,
AFTER ALL THESE YEARS!!! HE’S PROBABLY WAY YOUNGER THAN THE AGE
LISTED, BUT HE’S BEEN A LOYAL PET FOR MANY YEARS. DON’T LET HIS
POOR LIFE END THIS WAY, SAVE HIM!!! This poor angel is in great
shape, and he’s very healthy. He is so sensitive and smart, and
his poor heart is totally broken from his awful owners betraying
him so horribly—he just lays down with his back to the world, drowning in his grief. His awful owners dumped him claiming he “wants
out”—after all these years of his being a loyal pet, they use
that as an excuse! They probably did not provide a securely
fenced yard, and of course they didn’t bother to get him neutered, so of course he may “want out” sometimes. But then his
creep owners told the pound that he is “aggressive with animals
and with people”, and of course the pound just took their word
for it! But look how nicely and cooperatively he posed for this
photo. He seems a bit growly in the cage, a bit self defensive,
but most of all he just seems so very sad and brokenhearted since his owners betrayed him so horribly. He’s probably been in the pound for
1½ month, though he’s had no chance to get adopted or to be
around the public. Test this poor angel out yourself—go meet him,
ask to see him outside the cage, see for yourself if he’s
aggressive with you, and then test him out with other dogs. Please don’t let this poor angel be killed, save his precious angel life!!!
My name is Max and I am an unaltered male, white and brown
Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix. The shelter thinks I am about 10
years old. I have been at the shelter since Mar 28, 2006.

HELP!!! LOOK AT THIS HANDSOME BOY, “TITAN”!!! YOU CAN’T SEE IT FROM THE
PHOTO, BUT HE HAS LONG JOWLS AND A PUSHED IN FACE—HE APPEARS TO
BE A BULLDOG, OR BOXER, OR BULLMASTIFF, PURE OR MIXED WITH
STAFFIE, THOUGH LISTED AS STAFFIE. HE’ S INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL,
WITH HIS BRINDLE COAT. THE POUND DOES NOT HAVE ANY BEHAVIOR NOTES
ON HIM, HE’S PROBABLY VERY NICE, BUT HE SEEMS A BIT DEFENSIVE IN THE CAGE. PLEASE GO MEET HIM, ASK TO SEE HIM OUTSIDE THE CAGE, AND SAVE
HIS PRECIOUS YOUNG LIFE NOW, OR HE’S DEAD!!! Titan is a
stunningly gorgeous young boy, and may be considerably younger
than the age listed. He has the most luscious brindle coat, with black on
his muzzle, and long jowls with a somewhat pushed in face, very
cute. There was no weight listed for him, and I can’t even give
an estimate. This boy seems to have been just fine with the
employees in the pound, since there are no behavioral notes on him, and
he’s probably been in the pound for over a month. Perhaps his
having been housed at the “Annex”, where the public is not
allowed, has resulted in his being defensive about his cage, unused to strangers around it. He’s not aggressive, just a bit growly,
protective about the cage. Please have the pound get him out of
the cage for you so that you can get a better idea of his personality—he’s probably a really sweet fellow, though maybe a bit
mistrustful of humans and needs a bit of socialization. He’s
probably been in the pound for over a month, with no chance to
get adopted, and he will be one of the first ones killed. Please don’t let
this beauty be killed, save his precious angel young life!!! My
name is Titan and I am an unaltered male, brown brindle and white
Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix. The shelter thinks I am about 5 years old.
I have been at the shelter since Mar 28, 2006.

HELP!!! “DAICHI” IS A STUNNINGLY GORGEOUS, MAGNIFICENT YOUNG
AKITA!!! HE IS A NICE LARGE SIZE, BUT NOT OVERLY HUGE, AND HE
LOOKS ALL WHITE THOUGH HE HAS SUBTLE TAN COLORING TOO. HE’S A BIT
SHY BUT HE COMES WAGGING HIS TAIL AND GREETS YOU SO SWEETLY, AND
CRIES TO BE LET OUT. HE’S SUCH A HEALTHY, DARLING DOG, DON’T LET
HIM BE KILLED, PLEASE!!! You may be wondering why this
spectacular young boy is on the kill list. This fabulous boy was
dumped by his heartless owners through no fault of his own, just
because they were moving. As with so many dogs dumped by their
owners, Daichi was understandably very upset—he’s been in what he
thought was a loving, forever home all these years, and now
suddenly he’s taken from his “family” and thrust into a steel cage, to be imprisoned and executed. So he probably was defensive when first impounded—the pound called him “highly aggressive” and says he “tried to bite”. But he has relaxed in the pound—he’s very
sweet and friendly, as he comes to sniff your hand so calmly with
wagging tail, and gently begging to be adopted before it’s too
late. Please don’t let this fabulous dog be killed, save his
precious angel young life!!! My name is Daichi and I am an
unaltered male, white and tan Akita mix. The shelter thinks I am
about 4 years old. I have been at the shelter since Mar 20, 2006.

HELP!!! “MISTY” IS THE SWEETEST, CUTEST, MOST UNIQUE LOOKING TINY
SHAR PEI/LAB/STAFFIE BABY!!! SHE IS SO SHINY AND ADORABLE, SO
FRIENDLY, LISTED AS ONLY 1½ YEAR OLD BUT MAY BE EVEN YOUNGER.
SHE’S A TOTAL LOVEBUG AND A REAL BEAUTY. PLEASE DON’T LET THIS
ANGEL BABY BE KILLED!!! Darling little Misty is so gorgeous, with subtle brindle markings on an elegant, gleaming sable coat, with cute little floppy Shar Pei ears. The photo doesn’t do her justice, go and meet her, you will totally fall in love with her. She weighs just 47 lbs., and she’s sweet as can be, so affectionate and loving, she stands up on the cage bars to get closer to you. She begs you so politely to get her out of there before it’s too late!!! She will make such an affectionate pet, and she’s in fabulous condition, so healthy and vital. OH, NO!!! “ROCK” IS THE MOST STUNNINGLY GORGEOUS, SWEET LITTLE
ANGEL SHEPHERD/LAB/STAFFIE PUPPY!!! LOOK AT THOSE EXQUISITE,
SOULFUL AMBER EYES!!! HE’S LISTED AS 1 ½ YEAR OLD, BUT MAY BE
EVEN YOUNGER, AND HE ONLY WEIGHS 47 LBS. HE’S SUCH AN INCREDIBLE
TREASURE, DON’T LET HIM BE KILLED, PLEASE!!! Rock is such a
beautiful young angel, just a puppy, but so well behaved and docile. He’s
so gentle, he may be great with other dogs, but the pound
probably took one look at his cropped ears, and decided he must
be a fighter, and separated him from other dogs, to be killed at
the first opportunity. He’s not only sweet and young, he seems so
mellow you forget he’s just a baby. And he seems to be so healthy
and in fabulous shape. Go and meet him, you will fall in love
with him. What a fantastic pet he is, so adorable and adoptable.
Please don’t let this darling young baby be killed, save his precious angel life!!! My name is Rock and I am an unaltered male,

is NOT a rascal, is so unique looking, with such luscious tiger striped
brindle patterning on most of his body, and a white face—too too
cute. He weighs a sturdy 72 lbs., but he’s a big pussycat, a

HEALTHY AND VITAL, AND HE’S SUCH A LOVING ANGEL. PLEASE DON’T LET
THIS INCREDIBLE YOUNG DARLING BE KILLED, SAVE HIS LIFE!!! “J.B.” is such a stunningly beautiful youngster, so healthy and full of life and love. He has such vibrant chocolate coloring, and the most luscious markings. He is
truly an elegant boy. And he’s so sweet and gentle, yet so very
sad in the pound. This sensitive, smart angel boy knows that
despite his being so adorable and so adoptable, the pound is
eager to kill him. Please don’t let this incredible young
treasure be killed, save his precious angel life!!! My name is Jb

OH, NO!!! THIS ANGEL CAN’T BE ALLOWED TO BE KILLED, PLEASE!!!
THIS BEAUTIFUL ANGEL BOY IS A NEUTERED BLACK LAB/STAFFIE, TOO
CUTE AND TOO SWEET!!! HE’S SO ENERGETIC, AND BEYOND FRIENDLY, AND
HE CRIES SOFTLY TO BE LET OUT. HE’ S WAY YOUNGER THAN EVEN HALF
THE AGE LISTED, AND HE’S LONG LEGGED AND SO VERY HANDSOME. PLEASE
GO AND FALL IN LOVE WITH HIM, AND GET HIM OUT BEFORE IT’S TOO
LATE!!! This adorable boy is so gorgeous—the photo does him no
justice. He’s a sweet, sensitive, gentle boy, and the photo does
capture his sadness and desperation, being in the pound, and
about to be killed—he doesn’t want to die! But he’s so
enthusiastic in his pleas to visitors, he’s so loving and
affectionate, he talks a bit, begging to be let out. And he’ s so
affectionate, such a loving boy, with a fabulous personality. He’ s in great shape, so very healthy. It’s amazing that the pound lists
him as 7 years old, when he’s just a youngster. He’s so gentle
and incredibly friendly, he will make such a fabulous pet. He’s
so adorable and adoptable—please, this treasure can’t be allowed
to be killed. Save his precious young angel life!!! I am a
neutered male, black and white Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix.

OH, DEAR. “BOY” IS SUCH A STUNNING YOUNG FELLOW, SO HANDSOME,
WITH GREAT FEATURES, A SMOOTH-COATED CHOW. AND AS IS SO TYPICAL
WITH THIS BREED, HE IS DEFENSIVE IN THE POUND. HE OBVIOUSLY WAS
FRIENDLY ENOUGH TO HAVE THIS LOVELY PHOTO TAKEN, BUT HE’S VERY UPSET, SINCE HIS OWNERS DUMPED HIM TO DIE. PLEASE, IF YOU CAN SAVE
THIS ANGEL, GET HIM OUT FAST BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE!!! This poor
angel is very beautiful, and he appears to be in great shape. He
was probably adopted as a baby puppy, and now that he’s an adult
he was dumped by his heartless owners for—get this—being “too
big”! The pound labels him as 4 years old, but even if he’s half
that age, the owners have had him a couple of years, he didn’t just suddenly get to be “too big”. This breed is very loyal to their
owners, and Boy is very brokenhearted and unhappy in the pound,
and so he’s a bit defensive. The pound notes him as being
“extremely fractious”, which he may have been at first, when
betrayed by his “family”, thrust into a steel cage, imprisoned to be executed. Though he obviously relaxed enough to cooperate in having
such a lovely photo taken, and he seems to greet you with a bit
of snarliness, so typical of this breed in the pound. Please ask
to meet him outside the cage to find out his true personality,
and then save his life, or he’s dead!!! My name is Boy and I am
an unaltered male, brown and red Chow Chow mix. The shelter thinks I am about 4 years old. I have been at the shelter since Mar
28, 2006.

OH, NO!!! “HUNTER” IS THE MOST GORGEOUS YOUNG RED HUSKY/SHEPHERD,
OR VIZSLA/SHEPHERD, TOO BEAUTIFUL TO DIE!!! HE APPEARS TO BE IN
FABULOUS CONDITION, VERY HEALTHY. HE’S SHY AND SCARED IN THE
POUND—HE JUST LAYS IN THE BACK OF THE CAGE, ACHING TO COME TO
YOU, BUT HE DOESN’T DARE. PLEASE DON’T LET HIM BE KILLED FOR HIS
SHYNESS, GO AND MEET HIM, SAVE HIS LIFE!!! This darling young boy
is so very beautiful, with a red nose and long narrow muzzle, a luscious
cinnamony colored coat with lighter highlights, and elegant erect
ears. He just lays in the back corner of his cage, calm and
gentle, looking at you so longingly, yearning to socialize but
too frightened to do so. He’s a very smart boy, sensitive and
aware. But he’s probably terrified in the pound, and with good
reason. He seems to be in fabulous shape, healthy and young, with his whole life ahead of him. It would be so sad for him to lose his life,
just because he’s shy. The pound calls him “unpredictable”, which
is probably due to his fear alternating with his yearning to
socialize. Please go and meet him, ask to see him outside the
cage to find out his real personality—let him relax and trust a
bit. And then save his precious angel young life, before it’s too
late!!! My name is Hunter and I am an unaltered male, brown and tan German Shepherd and Siberian Husky. My age is unknown. I have been at

LITTLE BODY WITH EXCITEMENT TO SEE YOU. PLEASE, THIS AMAZING LITTLE
TREASURE CAN’T BE ALLOWED TO BE KILLED, SAVE HIM!!! Precious
little “Spots” is the most adorable little thing, I can’t say enough good
things about him. He is cute, cute, cute, such a fabulous beauty, with
such a gleaming coat and the most gorgeous features and markings. Go and meet him--you will fall in love with his looks alone, but his
personality is the most endearing there is too—you won’t want to leave
without him. He’s so affectionate and so full of love, greeting everyone
so excitedly yet politely, begging them so hopefully to get him
out of there before it’s too late. He’s probably even younger than the age
listed, and he’s so healthy and in perfect condition. He’s such a

OH, NO!!! THIS IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL YOUNG POINTER/BOXER/STAFFIE, SO VERY HANDSOME, WITH SUCH A LONG NARROW MUZZLE, LONG FLOPPY EARS, AND
THE CUTEST FEATURES!!! HE’S SUCH A FRIENDLY, LOVING YOUNG BOY, SO
DOCILE AND MELLOW, YET SO ENERGETIC AND FRIENDLY, A FABULOUS
PET!!! NOW HE'S BACK ON THE KILL LIST AFTER ALL THIS TIME.
PLEASE, HE CAN’T BE ALLOWED TO BE KILLED!!! This stunning young
boy is in such perfect condition, with such luscious coloring, and exquisite markings. He’s such a sweetheart, such a well behaved
gentleman, and he's so very beautiful, the photo does him no
justice—go meet him, you will fall in love, guaranteed. He lays
across the front of the cage, so mellow and relaxed, such an affectionate baby—he’s probably WAY younger than the age listed. He
greets you so hopefully, begging you so politely to get him out
of there before it’s too late!!! This sensitive, smart angel is
very worried in the slaughterhouse, with good reason. This darling boy was sent to the Annex to recover from his sniffles, which
he did. Now he has been sent back to the South LA pound, ready to
be seen and adopted, but now he’s been put on the kill list
again!!! He’s such a perfect pet, yet they are so eager to kill him all of
a sudden, since they now say he doesn't get along with other
dogs--though he did before. Please don’t just take the pound's
word for it, test it out yourself, or have a trainer work with
him. Don't let this angel treasure be killed, save his precious young

OH, DEAR. THIS IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL YOUNG SHAR PEI GIRL, SO VERY
CUTE AND CUDDLY—SHE LOOKS LIKE A LITTLE TEDDY BEAR!!! AND LOOK AT
THAT GORGEOUS SMILE ON HER ADORABLE FACE. This stunning, very
cute young girl is so velvety and so lusciously cinnamon colored,
the cartoonish photo does her no justice, though you can see
she’s adorable looking. But she’s so very much prettier in
person. She would find a home easily, with her looks, but this
poor girl is so frightened in the pound, at least in the cage. In
the photo she obviously seems friendly, but in the cage no one
can get near her—she charges the cage bars at visitors, and the
employees say she charges them when they go into her cage. She’s
great with other dogs, but apparently she’s mistrustful of humans. Perhaps she’s just defensive of the cage, and perhaps she’ s better in some situations than others. She appears to be a very young dog, very vital and full of life and energy. Perhaps a rescue
can take her, or perhaps someone can have a trainer or
behaviorist work with her to get her to relax and trust. Please
go and evaluate
